Service

Lower Chargeback provides Shopify chargeback-rate monitoring, risk and dispute operations, provider-alert review, merchant-controlled provider responses, notifications, and tracked-order billing entitlements. Provider access remains subject to the merchant’s own provider contract.

Merchant control

The merchant remains responsible for every provider decision, refund, evidence submission, fulfillment, cancellation, and other financial or commercial action. Lower Chargeback does not execute those actions automatically.

Data processing instructions

The merchant instructs Lower Chargeback to process the minimum Shopify and connected-provider data required to provide the enabled service. Lower Chargeback acts only for the purposes described in the privacy policy and does not sell merchant or customer data.

Security and confidentiality

Lower Chargeback restricts production access, protects production secrets through Cloudflare secret configuration, encrypts stored provider and Shopify credentials, uses encrypted network transport, maintains operational audit records, and does not copy production information into demo or test datasets.

Subprocessors

The merchant authorizes Shopify, Cloudflare, Brevo, and each provider account explicitly connected by the merchant as subprocessors necessary for the configured workflows. Each subprocessor remains governed by its applicable service terms.

Retention and deletion

Data is retained while needed to provide the installed service and its audit obligations. Shopify compliance webhooks are honored for data access and redaction. Shop redaction deletes the installation and dependent D1 records. Uninstalling revokes active Shopify credentials.

Incidents and requests

Lower Chargeback investigates security incidents, restricts affected credentials, preserves necessary audit evidence, corrects the cause, and provides required notices. Merchant instructions, privacy requests, and data-processing questions can be sent to marian@agilemedia.com.

Plans and provider fees

The Free plan tracks up to 10,000 Shopify orders and includes Provider Hub visibility, activation, verification, synchronization, and merchant-confirmed actions. Pro extends Shopify order tracking beyond that allowance. Shopify controls plan approval and billing. Provider eligibility, provider contracts, and provider fees are not included in Lower Chargeback billing.
