Operator and ownership

Lower Chargeback and lowerchargeback.com are owned and operated by TC Financial Resources LLC.

Service

Lower Chargeback provides direct merchant accounts for e-commerce platforms outside Shopify, including business and storefront settings, registration invoices, and website liveness test records. Separately, the embedded Shopify App provides operational order synchronization, Risk Review, dispute monitoring, Provider Hub, operational merchant notifications, and tracked-order billing entitlements. Provider Hub access remains subject to the merchant’s own provider contract.

Evidence access requires Shopify permissions and protected customer data approval.

Store owners can save encrypted business details and dispute information locally in Lower Chargeback. Shopify values take precedence, and saving manual information never changes Shopify records.

Shopify App responsibility

The Shopify App is provided and supported by TC Financial Resources LLC, which is solely responsible for the App. Support is available at marian@agilemedia.com. Shopify is not liable for faults in or harm caused by installing or using the App, and Shopify cannot provide assistance with installation or use unless Shopify expressly states otherwise.

TC Financial Resources LLC is solely responsible for liabilities arising from the merchant’s use of the App, including support and the access, use, distribution, or storage of Merchant Data. Suspension or termination of access to Shopify APIs can limit or stop the App. Shopify is not a party to this Merchant Agreement and has no obligation to intervene in disputes between the merchant and TC Financial Resources LLC.

Merchant control

The merchant remains responsible for every provider decision, refund, evidence submission, fulfillment, cancellation, and other financial or commercial action. Lower Chargeback does not execute those actions automatically.

Data processing instructions

The merchant instructs Lower Chargeback to process the direct account, storefront, invoice, website test, Shopify, and connected-provider data required to provide the enabled service. Lower Chargeback acts only for the purposes described in the privacy policy and does not sell merchant or customer data.

Security and confidentiality

Lower Chargeback restricts production access, protects production secrets through Cloudflare secret configuration, encrypts stored provider and Shopify credentials, uses encrypted network transport, maintains operational audit records, and does not copy production information into demo or test datasets.

Subprocessors

The merchant authorizes Cloudflare for Worker execution and storage and Brevo for transactional account, invoice, and operational merchant notifications. Shopify is also authorized when the merchant uses the Shopify App, and each provider account explicitly connected by the merchant is authorized for its configured Provider Hub workflows. Each subprocessor remains governed by its applicable service terms.

Retention and deletion

Direct-account data is retained while needed to provide that account and meet its audit obligations. For the Shopify App, operational order, transaction, risk, dispute, and operational aggregate records are retained for no more than 180 days after their last relevant activity. Active provider cases and their source records remain available while action is required; terminal provider cases and their source identifiers, actions, and events are deleted 30 days after closure. Shopify App audit records, observed Shopify users, notification deliveries, and terminal provider-webhook metadata are retained for no more than 180 days.

Provider webhook payload objects and Shopify App webhook receipts are retained for no more than 30 days.

Installation configuration, encrypted credentials, verified recipients, the aggregate billing entitlement, and the minimum records required to honor data-deletion requirements remain only while the App is installed or the enabled service requires them. Uninstalling revokes active Shopify credentials and starts deletion of the installation’s Shopify data. Shopify compliance webhooks take priority and initiate customer or shop data deletion. Subprocessor backup lifecycles remain governed by the applicable provider’s service terms.

Incidents and requests

Lower Chargeback investigates security incidents, restricts affected credentials, preserves necessary audit evidence, corrects the cause, and provides required notices. Merchant instructions, privacy requests, and data-processing questions can be sent to marian@agilemedia.com.

Direct registration invoice, Shopify plans, and provider fees

For a direct merchant account for an e-commerce platform outside Shopify, registration issues a $1,000 USD invoice payable by the e-commerce shop owner to TC Financial Resources LLC. The invoice is available in the merchant account and sent to the registered email address.

The direct registration invoice is not part of the Shopify App and is never charged to Shopify merchants for installing or using the Shopify App. Shopify App subscriptions are offered and billed only through Shopify App Pricing.

The Shopify App Free plan tracks up to 10,000 Shopify orders and includes every Provider Hub catalog profile. Activation, verification, synchronization, and merchant-confirmed actions require a registered adapter and an eligible provider account. Pro extends Shopify order tracking beyond that allowance. Shopify controls Shopify App plan approval and billing. Provider eligibility, provider contracts, and provider fees are not included in Lower Chargeback billing.
